VERNON PROJEKT

This unique exhibition spaces is an atypical gallery located in the display window of a former store on the corner of Janovský Street and Heřmanova Street, also in the neighbourhood of Letná in Prague. It opened in 2006.

Vernon Projekt is conceived as a space for “absolutely free” experimentation, in which artists can think through their works and bring them to completion. For this purpose, the gallery especially selects young conceptual artists for exhibits, and through the gallery’s installations it presents new artistic trends, such as lightdesign, site-specific projects, etc.

The location of this gallery space brings art directly to passers-by on the street. Vernon Projekt thus offers a nonstop artistic experience and shows the regular inhabitants of Prague the potential of contemporary art.
